The Landaulet was delivered in to El Had Babacar Kebe, Dakar / Senegal in June 1971 (data card and production order exists). In 1990 by a German Mercedes enthusiast in Africa discovered and soon afterwards carefully technical restored. In 2008 bought by Mercedes Benz Classic and extensively technically and visually revised. Among other things, the engine and the transmission have been completely overhauled, the air suspension and the hydraulic system repaired. The brake system, steering, the front and rear axle serviced and several chromed mounting parts renewed. A detailed valuation report from 2016 certificate the car a good up to a very good condition, as well as the body, frame and the underfloor assembly are in a non-welded and original condition.
