A very historic and rare convertible C. In February 1937 was this particular car been shown to the public at the international automobile saloon in Berlin. Among the visitors were also representatives of the German government of that time, who handed over this car as wedding gift for the young King Faruk of Egypt less than a year later. The color combination corresponded to the royal taste, the luxurious equipment, such as the Telefunken radio and the light leather upholstery testify it until today. The king abdicated in 1952 and went to exile, the car remained and was discovered by an Egyptian collector in 1988 who sold the car to Germany in 1996. A complete restoration followed over a period of five years. Immaculately and faithfully restored was it sold at an auction in 2006 and spent the following years in an exclusive car collection. In the spring of 2021, the car got an extensive technical overhaul at an specialized workshop in Germany and has a German registration since April 2021.
