The special feature of this small series is the special roof construction with a material mix of carbon fiber and glass. When activated, the roof rotates on its own axis and rests on the trunk lid.
This quickly turns a coupe into an open targa model. The engine power was increased by 25 hp compared to the Ferrari 575 M Maranello. After 2 years and 559 cars built, production ended and the successor Ferrari F599 was introduced.
This F575 Superamerica was delivered to Austria as a new car and has two previous owners. The on-board folder and tool bag are completely preserved.
The car was last serviced at a Ferrari authorized workshop in Frankfurt/M. and is in a very well maintained condition.
